For Shane Dawson fans, tomorrow is the day they have been waiting for largely since Shane Dawson first collaborated with Jeffree Star back in 2018. But more specifically last week when he revealed the launch date of the Conspiracy Palette set to drop on Friday, November 1st at 1 pm EST/ 10 am PST.
The Conspiracy Palette will be sold on JeffreeStarCosmetics.com tomorrow at 10 am PST on the dot. The palette will retail for $52 and will consist of the following 18 shades: Trisha, Just A Theory, Diet Root Beer, Flat earth, Food Videos, My Pills, Conspiracy, My Ride’s Here, Ranch, I’ll Go Home, Not A Fact What’s The Tea, Chem Trails, Controversy, Illuminatea, Inside Job (Diet Cola), Pig-ment, Flaming Hot, Cheetos Dust, Tanacon, Irrelevant, Cry On My Couch, and Sleep Paralysis. For the Mini-Controversy Palette, it will retail for $28 with the bundle retailing for $72.
The Gloss will be available for as well as the Diet Shane lip balm and all of the Velour Liquid Lipsticks. Which are available in the following colors: Shane, Are You Filming?, Jeffree, What the F*ck?, Ryland, I Gotta Go, and Oh My God. There are also some cute make-up bags, a tracksuit, the pig mirror, and many other cute make-up accessories dropping tomorrow as well. There is a cute pig satchel that retails for $35 that comes in pink and black that your girl definitely needs to get her hands on.
Personally, tomorrow I will be investing in the Conspiracy Palette and the pink pig satchel. I have been a fan of Shane Dawson since I was in middle school and have grown up with him. I got away from his content when I entered college but rediscovered him about a year ago when I was at a low point in my life. I binged his conspiracy videos and docu-series like it was nobody’s business. His content helped to put a smile on my face and has helped me through some low periods in my life.
For me it is suiting that this palette is named “Conspiracy” and that “Mini-Controversy” exists. Because Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star are inherently controversial people. Just this week they got into some drama with another beauty brand over a brush launch of theirs. However, they are human and have flaws. And because their flaws are out in the open for everyone to see, I respect them for not shying away when they make a bad move. I admire their friendship and wish them nothing but success with the launch of their palette tomorrow.
I also mentioned in my previous blog post that I would be looking to also pick-up the Tati Beauty palette in early 2020. And this is because I think it is a great neutral palette for someone like me who is just now dipping my toes into bolder color palettes such as Shane Dawson’s. I also think it would be fun to mix the neutrals in Shane’s palette with Tati’s palette and to really let my creativity go wild. I have never splurged on a premium palette before, but I think it is time we all treated ourselves this Holiday season.
